intestinal problems

Please help.  I am having trouble sitting.  Could you please suggest something.  Pressure in rectum or anus.  How do you know if you have rectal prolapse?  How about a hernia?

Crazymom, have you been to see your doc yet, and if so, what have they suggested or found? Pressure in the rectum or anus could be caused by a number of different things and each might require a different treatment so it would be very hard to generalize to try to give you some suggestions.

i feel pressure at the anus.  I had a rectocele repaired.  I was told i had an internal hemmorroid but that was not causing my problem.  I am using hemroidal cream to see if it helps just in case i can shrink it and to help after the doc looked in there.

I used to get gas build up there and when i passed gas it went away.  Now it is there all the time.

Does anyone recommend using ice or heat in the anus area???
