Iron actually helps makes a person constipated.  So if you are going in to have tests done, the doctors want your system to be cleaned out.

If anyone has any questions about living without your large intestine, ulceritive colitis, or an (spelling) illostomy or ostomy care - fell free to ask.  I have had one for nine months and know some tricks to get by.

Iron can make your stools test positive for blood so it can alter some of the relults.
