In 1997 I lost my daughter due to medical malpractice I was 32 and a half weeks have been going through complications for two and a half weeks when again at the ER they discharged me after 3 hours called me back the next day to come back for follow-up tests and she had already passed away... My mother is in the hospital again due to complications after a gallbladder surgery when they also repaired a umbilical hernia that she did not concern consent for and no one listened to us for a week after surgery now she's in the hospital with internal bleeding and they are doing nothing for her now except watching her she's in extreme pain I will be contracting an attorney as soon as she out because she does feel like she will be retaliated for if we contact an attorney now
One should NEVER have internal bleeding after any type of surgery, they screwed up big time! It doesn't matter what you signed prior to surgery, this is medical negligence and you've suffered as a result and now have a massive scar that wasn't in the plan. Find a good attorney! I'm sorry about this, and hope you're doing okay. I lost a son to medical negligence so stories like this really set me off! Take care.
Hi, I am sorry you are going through this. No this is not common. Did your surgeon have a lot of experience? Why were you bleeding internally? They should have told you if the nicked something or what happened.
