is this consipation

i am having bowel probs my stools are soft thin almost sticky and very hard to pass it feels like that my bowels are not empty is this consipation what should i do

It's not really constipation, although I'm sure it feels like it. The problem is when you've got soft fecal material it doesn't 'bulk' up in the inside of the 'tube' of the colon, and that lack of bulk doesn't stretch the walls of the colon signaling the colon that it needs to move stuff forward.

You may want to consider trying to bulk up your stool with some fiber and see if that helps things along. You could try fibrous food, or fiber tablets, or add something like benefiber to see if that's of help. Just make sure if you add fiber in a powdered form that you add the recommended amount of water to your daily intake. Without the water, the fiber will tend to become harder in the intestinal tract and could possibly cause problems.
