j-tube pain

by Marge67, Dec 29, 2007 11:04AM
My 21 yr. old daughter had a j-tube placed open one week ago. She still has considerable pain just below her ribs. She is very bloated. She has nausea and has twice vomited explosively the last  2 days. She says it hurts worse when we put formula in the bag. We have been feeding just water the last 2 days to keep her hydrated. This tube was placed due to a year of pain, nausea, and vomiting so we are not sure if the tube is the cause or just more of the same. We have no clear diagnosis but are working with "post viral autonomic neuropathy". Does this sound normal?
