i have recently had a double ballon entereoscopy which showed lymphangiectasia throughout jejunum the biopsy results came back and they said there was dilated
lactales supportive of lymphangiectasia i have also had a raised alkaline phosphate level for 10years now at 338 i dont drink or do drugs my symptoms prior to me having the double ballon enteroscopy are weight loss pale stools, nausea, servere diarrhea when eating fatty
foods i have since spoke to my consultant who has said that the lymphangiectasia would not be causing my problems and that it is ibs but i find that hard to believe as what i have reasearched about lymphangiectasia kind of goes with my symptoms i all so the pain where the abnormality was found in my small bowel when ever i eat fats so my main question is can i have lymphangiectasia and not have the malabsorbtion that goes with it .
