jock itch

by ronjackson, Jun 15, 2009 11:40AM
i am itching in the groin area, I recently had anal rectal surgery, required to soak at least 4-5 times a day. have tried several over the counters drugs, None have relieved the burning/itching/soreness.. ie ie Cortaid, Aveno, Anti-itch creams, neosporin, Calamine lotion, Ting (tinea corpus) spray. and later advised to just use Vasoline. Please advise of what to do to relieve the pain and discomfort..

You truly need to contact the doctor who did your surgery.  This is the best person to advise you on this, and to get you some quick relief.
