knots in abdomen

I have hard knots that have formed in my abdomen. They are about a cm long, except for one that seems to be made of several hooked together. The doc says they are in my omentum and does not know what they are. What does this?

Your doc should be doing tests to find out what the knots are. If he doesn't know what they are or suggest further testing, then find another doc who will check things out.

CalGal is correct. It sounds like it could be your intestines. I could feel the knots in mine. Ask to see a good GI dr.
