Now, I know the last thing you want to hear is a critique of your bingeBinge eating eating. But all I want to say is, I sympathize so much with your situation... many people express frustration, anger, and fear in a variety of less-than attractive ways, which can ruin their health or their lives. The trouble is, you pay for it down the road big-time. You did mention you may get help for your disorder, so I suppose you wouldn't mind if I told you that life can be crazy hard, but it can also be profoundly beautiful, if you will let your heart open up to the good vibes. It takes courage to live well, but the payoff is huge.
One way to begin to tackle your eating problem is do what Dr. Oz said about weight, but it applies to many stresses of life: Exercise daily for 30 minutes. Now, 30 minutes is a long time, takes some doing to get it that long. Me, when I was younger, I broke it down. I exercised about 10 minutes in the morning, then after work I went for walks with my dogs, in the evenings I went to self-defense classes, and on Saturdays I had a second job cleaning kennels. Talk about being worn slam out! But it keeps the looks good, no matter what the weight, and the physical exertion releases endorphins, the best mood lifters and pain killers around, and on top of that, doing physical stuff gets all the tension out of the body, leaving no reason for bad habits.
Turning inward the evil fates only breaks a person down, whereas releasing emotions thru exercise builds a person up. Life is best led in STYLE, which is to be at the top of your game all the time (except on your day of rest). Don't trash yourself... be brave, and you can get well by being active just a little bit of time every day. Quit being a stuck-in-the-mud. Go out and live once in a while.

All I know is long-term use of laxatives will make your body dependent on them, so that you cannot have a normal bowel movement without them. That could be pretty tough when you're on a trip in the Bahamas and you forget to pack your laxatives! There may be additional problems with using them forever, so you could go to drugs.com and look up the stuff you take, and read about other side-effects and warnings.
