In 2007 I've been in a car accident. I've been to numerous doctors, and usually for the same reasons. The first one I went to was a chiropractor, for about a year. After that I saw a Neurologist, who diagnosed me with slight left carpal
bone, and then he referred me to a surgeon in his office. The surgeon disagreed with the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Dr's diagnosis, and told me that I might have nerve
damage or soft tissue damage, and that I was too young to have a surgery. I’ve been going to Physical therapy for the past four months, for the shoulder
pain. I just don’t know what to do, I've pain in the left shoulder and the left shoulder blade. The pain starts usually when I'm holding my hand up high, when I'm typing or on the phone, also when I'm driving. It starts from the neck and down my arm. The pain is unpredictable; it appears when I'm moving from one side to another. I've also felt pain underneath my left breast and then the pain radiates to these other areas (shoulder and down my arm). It also feels as if something is caught underneath my left ribcage. On many occasions I thought that I might have a heart problem but I'm scared to go to any doctors because they all tell me the same thing. Can someone please help; any answers to this would be helpful. Just to let you know that I'll be seeing another Orthopedic and Sports Medicine doctor for the second opinion. Please help.
