left sided abdoninal pain and spasm

I have been havin left sided abd pain for two weeks now with constipation on and off, my ct scans show very litlle dicerticulosis with now evidence of diverticulitis. it gets so bad sometimes to where it feels like someone is squeezing my side abdomen and i cant walk. it then just continues constantly with a dull ache all the way to my fold in my leg near my groin.it is only on my lower left side and is not getting any better. what is this if the dr supposedly says its not diverticulitis.

Hm  it does sound like diverticulitis flares. Are you running
a fever ? Did they check your white blood count to see
if you have an infection? I get a lower left dull cramping pain
and mucus in my stool but haven't been diagnosed with
any thing yet.I also get a stinging pain now near my groin
I would get another Dr is he is not helping you
.You shouldn't be in the much pain from just diverticulosis, maybe some
mild cramping. What to see is the pain gets worse when you eat certain
things such as seeds .
