FIRST OF ALL WE ARE NEW TO THIS... MY HUSBAND WAS JUST DIAGNOSED WITH A HEMANGIOMA IN THE LIVER.... WE ARE WAITING FOR INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE DOCTOR AS TO HAVE A CT SCAN OR NOT.
UMMM... WE KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT THIS..  HE WENT TO THE DOCTOR TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS CAUSING HIS PAIN AND DISCOMFORT IN THE STOMACHE AND THEY FOUND A HERNIA, BUT THE DOCTOR SEEMS TO THINK THIS DOESN'T RELATE TO THE STOMACHE PAIN, SO THEY DID AN ULTRASOUND TO CHECK FOR GALL STONES AND FOUND THIS HEMANGIOMA INTHE LIVER.
COULD YOU PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH US?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

OHH AND BY THE WAY, HE HURTS RIGHT UNDER THE  UPPER RIGHT RIBS AND WHERE THE GALL BLATTER IS ALL THE WAY AROUND THE LEFT LOWER SIDE OF HIS STOMACHE. HE FEELS AS IF HIS FOOD ISN'T DIGESTING RIGHT...AND ALL KINDS OF THINGS GOING ON IN THERE????

THANKS

sorry i forgot the rest of your question..
he is  years old.. and he is a carpenter.  very hard worker and a great health history.

we will be looking to hearing from you.
as soon as we get instructions from the doc we will let you know.

is your hemangioma a benign process or ??  they are wanting to do the ct scan to rule out any cancer?   that is a scarry word there.  but our life is in God's hands anyway.  we must continue to trust in him. (Jesus)

thanks

I have hemangioma in the liver and I am also looking for more information.  I do know that I visited a specialist and he said if there is pain under the right rib that he would want to know about it.  I don't know what he would want to do next, but sounds like something you want to talk to a specialist about if there is pain.
