lower left abdominal cramps,help please!

i get lower left abdominal cramps that wont go away until i have a bowel movement, i dont know if it could be ibs.also my b.m. vary fom hard to diarrea (diarrhea).any coments would be appreciated.

Sounds like you could have a spastic colon from lack of fibre..increase your fibre intake or buy some citracel or metimucel and mix that with water of juice and take that every day. It helped me when I had pain in my left side..and it also helps to keep your bowels movements formed and not too try or too loose. I always used to get that pain in my left side from not eating enough fibre. Good Luck.
