lower left abdominal pain

lower left abdominal pain

I've had lower center abdominal pain on and off for a month. Went to the Dr, he told me to take Motrin twice a day. The next day, friday, I woke up, sneezed and got a severe pain in lower left abdomen, like it ripped a muscle. This pain has stayed since. Every sneeze or cough rips it apart. Went back to Dr. monday, he gave me Arthrocet, another NSAID. It still hurts just as bad...severe. It's now wednesday night. No bloody stool, vomiting, fevers...just this severe pain every time I sneeze, cough, laugh.... Dr said he'd refer me to a specialist but today was his day off so I must wait till tomorrow for that. Any ideas???
