lower left quadrant and lower left back sharp pain

I have had lower left quadrant pain ( around ovary area) for about 3 years now. It usually causes the pain to radiant to my lower left back directly behind the pain in my lower left quadrant. I have had ultrasounds done on my ovary and the drs say it looks fine. At times I can feel a knot in the area I am experiencing the pain. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and the pain was so intense last night I could not sleep. I can have a normal bowel movement every day (that is sometimes painful in abdomen) but still have a very loose bowel movement every 3 or 4 days. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
