mesenteric adenopathy

by gooberpea, Sep 17, 2002 12:00AM
I have been suffering with abdominal pain, I have had 3 cat scans, they all say I have mesenteric stranding and lymph adenopathy. One doc says that it has nothing to do with my flank and abd pain, and one says that the lymph swelling is not enough to worry about. I also have had arthritis like symptoms in my hands and feet, tests are neg for rheumatoid,, infact all lab tests are normal. I have been in the hosp once for the pain and in the er twice. my doc recently said, I have done all I know to do,, it is not an infection, dont think it is cancer,, dont know what it is,, maybe it will go away.  it is very hard working as a nurse with the pain,, pain meds and not knowing what this is. Does anyone have a clue?
