mesenteric lymphadenitis
My 14 yr old daughter was diagnosed with Mesenteric Lymphadenitis. It started back in August, then went away completely, and about 3 wks later reared its ugly again with full force. We have 3 ER visits and always come back with the same answer. You have to ride it out. She has been out of school now starting her 3rd week and having pain pretty much at a 7 ot 8 all day. Twice now they have cleansed out her colon and seems to really knock out her pain. The pain level will then go down to a 2 or 3, which is an amazing break for her, then within a day and a half, her pain starts shooting right back up there to a 7 or 8.Seems like the minutes her intestines start filling, the pain comes back right away. We have done this two wks in a row now, and both times had the exact same results.  Starting to make me wonder if this is not what she has, but all doctors are in agree with it, except for the ones that keep saying she is constipated. Not sure how that can be when she hardly even eats anymore. She also  has nausea with this as well, she is not throwing up anymore on round two. First round she had a low grade fever, this round her temp is usually in the  97.3  range and at one point dropped to 95.6.  Just wondering if anyone else has had any of there systems like this at all. I am looking for any help at this point, Oh Yea, and pain meds have no effect on her but help get her bound up.  Thanks
