mucus diarreha

my son is 3 years old.before one month he was suffering from amebiasis. it has been treated by levofloxacin and nianidine and he was ok. but from 2 days he is passing mucus in stool and the frequency of passing stool is 3-4 time.it may be amebiasis or intestinal infection.

Amebiasis is a parasite which is found in very unsanitary conditions, and can be passed from person to person.  It sounds like your son may have it again, and should see his pediatrician as this parasite can go into the brain, lungs, etc.  You need to make sure your home is sanitary, and everyone washes their hands often.
