my fiance has a problem

by brandyi, Jul 02, 2008 10:23PM
My fiance has a serious problem i think, but i can't get him to do anything about it because i can't give him any deffinet proof.  He has had to go number 2 after almost every meal, he's does weigh but maybe 160 and his weight doesn't fluxuate that often. When it does it only does a couple of pounds and then he's fine.  When he eats some foods though he has to rush home to go to the bathroom. Just this evening after he had another episode and got threw in the bathroom i went to go to the bathroom and i noticed the water was red, like he had just poored hawaiian punch in the toilet.  We do drink about 4 to 5 beers at night but we are 22 and thats just what we do while having people over.  I'm really worried about him because he has been having problems with his bowel movement for the past 5 months. He used to go like clockwork, once in the morning once in the afternoon and once at night. It was normal for him tho, no cramping.  The gas has also gotten alot worse, he is not completely able to control it. It's all threw out the day. I wish i could give him a deffinet answer on what he has so that he will actually go and get help. I hope you can help.   please, I don't want to get to the point where he winds up with something more serious. He's just scared to find out what it is.   In the pic thats him on the left.

The red water in the bathroom was from vomiting or after a bowel movement?

Can you two talk and say:
- what is the color of his stool
- any blood in the stool (red or black)
- is he taking any medicines or has any other disease
- any abdominal pain, like just below the breastbone, or below the right rib cage, or in lower right or left abdomen?

22 is not the age for colorectal cancer, just for your information. This cancer occurs after 50.
