Hi,

what are the myths about red meat?  And how long does it take to digest red meat?

I don't know of any red meat myths, but it takes approximately 4-6 hours for meat to be digested and emptied from the stomach, under normal conditions. Excessive fat in the meal, and digestive distress (including gallbladder or pancreas problems, as well as reduced stomach motility) may increase the digestion time required for the meat to leave the stomach.
