narrowing of pylorus

narrowing of pylorus

iI have been told I need surgery because of the narrowing of the pylorus. the pylorus area is weak and continues to narrow. I had a scope done to expand the opening once since it was totally closed.since then there were two other times that I had severe pain, went to emergency room. In addition there are many times I have severe pain that lasted two to six hours and keeps me up at night. I was told that my condition will not improve and I should have surgery now before it becomes an emergency.my question is what kind of surgical procedure is needed, and how risky is it.Im 61 years old and in good health otherwise.
