nausea//black stools

i have been having problems lately with night time black stools and some in daytime// morning nausea, can't even brush my teeth i get sick, my dr said i should take a magnesium supplement due to a low mag count that cause heart pac's. could the mag sup. be causing the problem? i cut the dosage in half for 3 days with no change, i can usually eat at evening time one meal a day amd thats all. i can keep tea down during the day. do i have maybe something else i should have checked?

Hi Terry, black stools or blood in stool is a side affect of magnesium - I'd call my doc.
