nausea several hours after evening meal

10 - 12 times a year I wake at night with severe nausea. I usually develop diarrhoe and then violent vomiting. This usually last about 2 hours. The next day apart from feeling somewhat washed out I am okay. I have suffered accute reflux since 15 years of age. I am 57 now and pescribed nexium which helps the reflux. I believe I have been suffering this nausea all my life but have been puting it down to food poisoning. It has been occuring more often as I age. Hope someone can help.
