nausea vomiting bile

by auntbeebee, Feb 13, 2008 10:10PM
This discussion is related to weight loss, nausea vomiting bile after gallbladder removal.

I was so glad to find this site.  Ever since September I have bouts of feeling terrible. I have feelings of nausea just about all the time.  From light to overwhelming and I feel shaky and nervous when it happens at times.  I also have an off and ache between my shoulder blades.  I have also vomited bile.
I also have stomach pain in my upper right and lower left.  A test for gallstones came back normal but I have all the symptoms I am puzzled.

If the only test that was done to check for gallbladder issues was an ultrasound, please ask your doc to order a HIDA scan with CCK injection. Perhaps that will give the doc a better indication of what is going on.

In the meantime, try following a low-fat diet and cut out all dairy products. It may help.
