one last question about hepatitis

does anyone know if  you can get hepatitis B even though youve had the vaccine? i tried yahoo answers but not much luck lol. I had the three shots done in 96. i also had hepatitis a done too. my right side still hurts. could this be hepatitis c? ive never done any drugs using needles or straws or anything, but had a one time bout of unprotected sex back in january. shouldnt my vaccine prevent me from getting it? i only have abdominal pain, and occasionally my food doesnt go down right, just comes back up as if im really gassy.

is hep c sexually transmitted? everyone says know, except for the people that i get tested at my clinic.

And just one more time I'll tell you.  Yes, you can get Hep B and Hep C even if you've had the shot, and you can also get both Hep B and Hep C through unprotected sex, altho these scenarios are unlikely.  If you would simply get tested for those items, which is amazingly simple and costs nothing at the county clinic, you would not have to worry about this any more.  In older posts back to you, I've given websites that will tell you these same things.
