I oozing soft stool after a bowel movement.....I have no feeling that it is happening....I am told by my gastroenteroligist that my pelvic muscles are weak....is there anything I can do about it, please...
Your pelvic muscles are weak, or your rectal muscles are weak? They may be two different things. If the pelvic muscles are weak, ask for a referral to someone who can teach you some pelvic floor exercises - yes, you can exercise those muscles if you're shown how to do it.
If you want to check on the rectal muscles, there are specific tests that can be run. Ask to see someone who understands colo-rectal issues and get some testing done.
