pain behind bottom left ribs

I have been having abdoman pains for a couple of years now. I've just been blowing it off as a result of the constant drinking of hard liqour, but it's been about a year now since my last drink and now and it seems like it has intensified. I'm not sure if it may be ulcers or my liver, spleen, or maybe it is something else. I would appreciate it if anyone could give any thought about what it may be. Oh, by the way I am only 30.

Hello , im having the same thing pain under my left ribcage , but mine radiatates to the back also same spot . i dont drink much , and when i sit i can feel something undernether my ribs or when i lay back on something i can feel pressure. anyways my doc said something about it being a misplaced rib lol which the misplaced rib he was talking about was no where near where im having the pain . im just as curious as to what might be gonig on , and i do read alot about ppl having these pain under there left ribs . but no clue as to what the heck it is ! good luck i hope you find out what it might be !
