pain in stomach

i have got really bad pain in my stomach just under my left breast on the rib cage.
this pain has been here for about 7 months now and it is really painful.
doctors have said there nowt wrong but obviously there is.
what could this be?

I had the same problem and the pain radiated around my left and right side waist section. The areas are very tender to touch and make my back hurt something awful. Sometimes the pain goes right up under my shoulder blades. I was diagnosed with IBS and just started recently taking meds for it. That sounds alot like your troubles I would take to your doctor about it. Hope this helps you some.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  What tests have you had done?  If your doctor hasn't done any tests on you, I would recommend you get some tests done by a gastroenterologist.
