pain in upper left side. Gallbladder?

by xirisx, Nov 05, 2007 02:42PM
For about 2 months now i've been having a very sharp pain in my upper left side. Sometimes i have to go to the bathroom right away after eating. The pain comes and goes so i figured it was just gas, and the bathroom thing doesn't happen all the time.  But every time i get the pain now, it hurts longer and longer and the pain is sharper, and it kinda extends to my back a bit. My mother said it could be my gallbladder.  I wanted some suggestions before i went to the doctor. What can this be?

It could be Gb...does the pain radiate to your back and shoulders? Do you get nauseous or sweat alot? those are symptoms too..if its that bad and keeps happening go to your dr

Well, i did go to the doctor and he said that it's not my Gb. He told me to stop drinking milk, or eat anything dairy. He also said to stop eating vegetables and beans. The pain has gotten better, but for the past few days i have been nauseous....
