I am a IBS( irritable bowel syndrome) patient but recently I've been having pain on the right side right under my ribRib cage pain cage. but before that happen I was at work and suddenly the pain it everywhere in my abdomen. But right now it's on the right side of my ribRib cage pain cage.My doctor toll me that the level of bilirubin was high but he still doesn't so anything. I don't know if I should go to the hospital or wait for my appointment with my gastro. doctor which is in a month, only.
Please help
RUQ pain can by typical of gall bladder/stones, but I am not sure about the all over pain. You might want to see if you can get an ultrasound prescribed prior to your GI appt., so that you have something to go off of rather than waiting a whole month, risking another "attack", and then start your exploring. An US would at least confirm or rule out gall stones, might be a good place to start.
I do not have my gallbladder anymore. I had gall stones when I was 14yrs old. I have a feeling that it has to do with my colon or my liver for some reason. I am going to see my familyBirth control and family planning Choosing a primary care provider Ewing’s sarcoma Family troubles - resources doctor in a couple days then I'll find out what I can do about the pain. The pain is still present just not as bad, and hit in different parts of my abdomen. So thats why I'm not to sure about the cause.
Good luck, and keep us informed.
Thanks for the respond
