pain under right rib and my ribs are sore

i have light pain under my right rib for years and i had to have my gallbladder taken out last year and now the pain is worse. i have had xray , ct scan,blood test,colonoscopy,endocopy they cant seem to find out what the problem is when i have gas it hurts under my right rib but i am sore in my lower rib cage and it goes around to my back to the spine sometimes a numbing sensation but mostly pain. im getting ready to have a detailed xray of the rib .

when you had your gall bladder taken out... what exactly were your symptoms that made you go get it checked out... :(?

Sound exactly like my symptoms. I had my gallbladder removed in the ER when they mistakenly thought that it was the cause of my pain. That was 4/28/2009 and now I'm still suffering. I just went to the ER again today because the pain is so horrible. I'm supposed to follow up with a pulmonologist since they already tried the nerve blocking injections and they didn't work either. Let me know what you find out.
