pain with taking deep breath

I have pain when taking a deep breath on my middle to upper right side?

15 months ago I had same symptom with the added symptom of shortness of breath during surgery they found my right lung with a stange film around it keeping lung from expanding.

I know that when I got pneumonia one time, I wound up with pleurisy, and it hurt real bad on one side of my chest when I breathed in.  So, that's why I replied to your post.  I do believe it may be a similar lung problem to what you had before.  Or pleurisy, that's when you get a little fluid collecting at the bottom of the lung, altho yours is higher up.  I don't know that much about lung problems, other than my own, so you could check with the lung forum people, see what they say.
