pain(pullying) after 2weeks of appendectomy (laproscopic)

hi,
     2 weeks ago i had under gone laproscopic surgery for diagnosis and curative purpose and they found my ruptured appendix. so they removed it and washed my abdominal cavity. after 5 days of surgery i got discharged.
      
      from last 2 days i m having pulling kind of pain while taking deep breath or yawning or laughing. pain is at left lower abdomen .
    
       my doc told me that this kind of pain will be there for 6 week . and he adviced me to stop pain killers.from today morning i didnt had any pain killers .

         i m a student of physiotherapy final year. after 3 weeks my exam starts.

        i m worried . whats goin on with me ? i m not satisfied with my doc's answer

plz give some guidance. thanks a lot.
