pancreas (help asap please!)

my step dad just recently went to the hospital last night.
and he got all the sympton of pancreatitis. but vomiting. he was at the hospitla for 4 hours. doing tests on him. and they say there is an infection somewhere that started it. but they were calling doctors arund the world. wondering whats going on.
they dont know what..
please help..

pancreatitis or issues of the pancreas could be from gallbladder disease,stones blocking the duct to the pancreas,alcohol consumption,as pancreas issues are 10 x more likely them liver issues from drinking.
i dont know where they got it was an infection that started it,but if it was....it would have to be something that is connected like the liver,or gallbladder or stones....
