I was having some pain , upset stomach, loose stools after eating, food wont go down good. I was told I had hpylor 2 yrs ago and treaded , test a yr later was neg. I was still having probs and my Dr got CT scans and ultrasounds too, they showed I have lesions on the live , spleen, and pancreas. I went to Baylor fri, they went down with the EDG ultrasound. I was told I have no tumors or cancer, but  have abnormalities noted in the entire pancreas, and inflammation all in the GI track.
He took biops of all . Dose any one in here know what the reasons for all this. I don't drink , don't smoke and I don't eat fatty foods. Im 60 and have no blockages. My moms side had had GI probs .

Hi, Thanks so very much! My ribs on rt side hurts all the time, my gastrin sirum test are 283 and now 375  it just keeps going up too. the Ct scan showed a pancreas cyst and a sudo cyst too , this man said no , who is telling the truth. the scan or the Dr? Time is one thing thats always tells the truth, it never lies! My mom, her sister ,their mom & my sister craped them selves till death, I do know this for a fact. I don't even eat beef, Ive been eating a lot of smoothies with fruits, it seems to help  some. any more info would be nice!                   Thanks again Doc!

Hi, could be auto immune disorders, they can affect any organ in the body.  Autoimmune disorders are also familial. What was the problems diagnosed from your maternal side? It could be related to this. A biopsy facilitates a histologic study of cells, which gives you a definite diagnosis. So once you have the diagnosis you will know what measures or precautions you need to follow. Good luck.
