pancreatic head mass

my mother 62 yrs had abdominal pain 2.5 months back. mrcp was done showing pancreatic head mass measuring 18mm*12mm. today mrcp repeated showing the size to be d same exactly.  amylase 43, ca 19.9 negative, sugar with mild medication 71(f) n 91(random). lft normal.
pls let me know what kind of mass it could be, benign or malignant? what further examinations and treatment? how is ercp helpful?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  No change in size makes it a little less likely that it is cancer, but it definitely still could be cancer.  An ercp might be helpful but you really need to discuss this with the doctor.

does no change in size in 2 n half months give any idea bout its nature?
dr suggests fnac, which is nearly imposs in given situation n at d same time its results r often inconclusive. how much is ercp helpful?

Welcome to the gastroenteroogy community!  It could be benign or malignant and I would recommend that she follow up with her gastroenterologist about this.
