I have been drinking peppermint tea for gallstones. I read that it may help dissolve them though I highly doubt it. But, hey, gotta try. Anyway, it does ease indigestion but also relaxes the sphincter which can allow reflux if you have a hiatal hernia.

Ginger helps too. Ginger ale, ginger tea, or even sucking on a slice of ginger root.

YES, PEPPERMINT DOES AID IN DIGESTION, HOWEVER, IF YOU SUFFER FROM ACID REFLUX DISEASE, STAY AWAY FROM IT AND SPEARMINT TOO. THEY SEEM TO INCREASE ACID PRODUCTION.

Ginger doesn't work for me at all. Remember, it also thins the blood.
