I have had Peripheral Neuropathy for over 10 years, and I can tell you that it is progressive, painfulPainful menstrual periods, and can be only somewhat controlled through medication if you get the right doctors (using medication usually used for patients with epilepsyEpilepsy Epilepsy - resources Treatment of epilepsy). The medication causes the nerves to become confused and send the wrong signals to the brain, hopefully not the painfulPainful menstrual periods ones. Your biggest enemy will be yourself.
