My mum (who is 63) has been feeling unwell for months. Was diagnosed with perniciousPernicious anemia aneamia and atrophicAtrophic vaginitis gastritis in March. But her vitamin b12 injections (for the PA) werent helping and now shes had an ultrasound which showed her liver not only is fattyXanthoma and has a cyst but there are 'shadows', two 'hypoechoic' patchesAllergy testing Skin color - patchy. The GP didnt say much except that it could be cancer, although possibly isnt as she hasnt been losing weight . Now we have to wait til Tuesday to see the gastroentorologist. Has anyone had this type of ultrasound result before, or has medical knowledge about this? Could it be something else aside from a tumour? I know it could still be a benignBenign ear cyst or tumor Benign positional vertigo tumour but im still pretty scared.
