please save my mother

i am a twentyfour year old male, seeking aid for my mother. she is 46 and has been diagnosed with a dead colon. she also has a history of high blood pressure, high blood sugar(?), and heart problems. she was prescribed reglan approximately four years ago and took it for at least 3 of the 4 years. she is off of it now but she cannot use the restroom without the use of laxitives which do not even seem to work anymore. occasionally she may get a slight amount of fecal matter with the use of a liquid sepository. she complains also of a jumping or twitching on her left side where her colon makes its final turn to descend to the rectum. is it possible that reglan could be a cause of this condition(dead colon). i just found my mother after twenty years, any aid in curing this condition and keeping her around for years yet to come would be a god send, please help!!! god bless!!!

Has she been to a Gastro doctor yet? Instead of just taking meds for an issue, they could look to surgical procedures to help her out. If she has not seen a GI yet, get her an appointment and let them make the determination.
