hello my name is tara i have a question for everyone ok so i have some of your symptoms . well let me just start from the begining so my symptoms started when i was 16 years old and now i am almost 23 . it first started one day i got Constipated for like a day or two . Then after that i had diarrhea for 3 years with really bad Abdominal pain and sweating
the whole time i would be in the bathroom and then when i would be done i would be very weak and have to go lay down . Then it turned to blood for a week and then the blood went away but i still had the diarrhea for another year and then i got better for some reason i started to be able to go to the bathroom ok. But that didnt last long cause i had a baby and a few months after i had my baby i started having my pains again and then it turned back to blood for 3 weeks and now i dont have the blood but i have diarrhea all the time and pain that feels worse then being in labor . ive been to the doctors and they havent done really any tests so i dont know what it could be. All they say is that it is normal for someone my age to bleed from the rectum its called fishers. I dont know but i have a lot of friends and none of them have these problems so i dont know how normal it is to always be in pain at 23 years old or at any age for that matter. The other doctor ive seen told me that it sounds to her that my intestines are having some what of a charliehorse type feeling i wanted to slap her cause the pain does not feel like that at all . so if anyone has any idea of what could be going on with me please please please let me know cause im starting to just give up hope that im never going to know what is happening to me and im just going to have to live with this . please help me . ive looked up all of my symptoms and there is just to many and all it does is leave me with more questions and not answers . please please some help me .
I have had stomach issues for a long time as well. I suffered from severe constipation, my PCP finally put me on Miralax. It has helped in the last 3yrs. I have not dealt with diaherrea however or blood in my stool.
Have you been to a gastro? It sounds like you need a lot of testing done. Will your dr. refer you to a gastro?
my sister and neice had this discomfort (charliehorse) in their bowels and it turned out to be twisted bowel; they both had it removed (several feet of intestine); i don't agree with that though, start trying colon hydro therapy first and try to strengthen your intestines. to find out what's blocking it, maybe do a colon cleanse. docs answers are just to remove it but you can likely fix it before it gets to that point. if you do a cleanse, use a strainer and find out what's in your stool, it helps to explain it to them if you get a chance. take care. i've been suffering for a long time and only now finding answers, not easy.
thank you so much for your ideas they really help well i just had a sonogram done on my upper stomach and it was normal but i already knew it would be cause i have lower stomach pain ive been having the pain and my bowl problems for over 6 years so i dont know yet whats going to happen im trying to see a GI but it just feel like the doctors dont care so they are making me wait for them to make the date to see one so i dont know why this is happening . thank you again so much it really mean alot to me
so im still waiting to see a GI so i dont know why but these last few days ive been going to the bathroom with no pain but no my lower back hurts really bad its been going on for 6 days now im thinking my backs out but not sure cause the pain almost feels like its coming and going . i dont know what is wrong with my body but im starting to get mad at these doctors cause i just want to know what is wrong with me . i mean im 23 years old almost. i have diarrhea all the time i mean some times i have constipation but not as much as the diarrhea i would have to say i have diarrhea everyday and i have Abdominal pain that comes and goes. ive been peeing myself for about 6 years and i have lower back pain and now for about a year now ive been having this skin rash on my hands
. i feel like everyday there is something new wrong with my body . please someone just help me cause i feel like im alone i read everyones post on here and i dont see anyone that has this all going on with them someone just let me know that im not alone and maybe what it could be cause i dont like what i think it could be so someone please just let me know that im not alone please
that were mentioned to something like diverticulitis.....
I hope that you get some answers and relief soon! And no, this sort of pain is definately NOT NORMAL!!!! Some doctors need to really think about what they're telling people.....
thank you so much yeah i know ive been trying to see a GI for going on a month now but they are playing games with me so im going to try and see someone else. i still havent been seen by one they keep saying they havent got any papers on me but my doctors office has sent it 4 times and i even made sure they had the right fax number. the GI doctors office keeps saying they are not geting it so i think its just time to try and see someone else . well thank you so much for you ideas of what it could be yeah ive looked up alot of things it could be . i just hope its not cancer cause one of my grandmas died for colon cancer and alot of different cancers run in my family so i dont know . i did look up diverticulitis and alot of other things that it could be and i wrote them down and talked to my doctor about it and she told me that i dont look like someone with cancer so she said that i dont have that and then she said that its normal to bleed from the butt its called fishers but she had nothing to say about my pain . i dont know im about done with all these doctors it just feels like they just dont care you know since its not happening to them why should they .
I agree with all the recommendations to see a GI. Do you have insurance? You may not require a referral. I have Crohn's Disease and have experienced similar symptoms. Crohn's can affect any part of your GI tract from your mouth to your anus. Causes Diarrhea, constipation, severe pain and cramping, chills, fever and can cause strange rashes and swelling. When I flare I also experience joint pain and swelling. I hope this is not your problem because there unfortunately is no cure. There is however medication that can help lessen your symptoms. Some patients require surgery to remove the diseased part of your intestine and that can often put you in remission for several years. Best way to diagnose Crohn's is through Colonoscopy and biopsy. Good luck!
im so sorry to hear that you have Crohn's Disease . i dont think thats what i have i have looked into that to and what i have read doesnt sound like that what i have . thank you so much and i hope that you having a ok day with your symptoms .
