polups and sever gas pain

by ruby50, May 03, 2008 09:31AM
Hi I'm very new & did't post my question very well,I've had a ct done on lower LEFT side of ab. & they did'nt find anything but a (few) polups on the intestines, this was about 6 months ago, they ran the test because i have leg pain and also thought i might have a hernia, which is uncommon in wemon, now i'm having pain in my left side with a lot of gas 24/7. I was wondering if this might be related to the polups or something else?

If the polyps were found within the large intestine, most docs recommend that a colonoscopy be done and the polyps removed. If the polyps were inside your intestine and your doc hasn't followed-up on this issue, I'd suggest you call him and ask what he intends to do about the issue of the polyps. Polyps can change over time; going from benign to cancer.
