cage. I have had a sonogram of the area, a HIDA scan of my gall bladder, an upper and lower GI... all are "Normal". It is very frustrating for me since I know there is something wrong! My PCP has ordered a CT of the area which I will be having soon. My surgeon thought it could be a sphinctor disfunction and said I should have my gall bladder removed. Has anyone gone through anything like this?? Help!!
but my doctor still thinks I have sod. If your gallbladder is good on the hida scan I don't know if I would have it removed. But you could get a second opinion on that to make sure. The bad thing about pancreas and sod related issues is they are really hard to diagnose. It takes years on average from start to diagnosis for some people to figure out whats wrong. Not saying it is what you have or it will take that long but that's just the usual time frame.
