post galbladder weight gain

I have gained about a pound a day since my  gb surgery about 20 days ago. I cannot stop swelling up in the abdomen after every meal. After I chew myt food and try to swallow it, it will not go down well and I take a drink of water and try to help it go down but, the sater says high up in my esopaghus and cuts off my breathing abilities and makes trying to swalow worse and then some of the food and water come straight up and out involuntarily and I satiuggle breathing a little more, I chew the food  estra times or wait between bites for what seems to be a long long time and these tactics do not help? I am not eating more. What is going on? I cannot afford a new wardrobe.  I often get short of breath when not eating as well at times, Any thoughts?

Wow, sorry to hear what you are going through.  This may be a stupid question but have you talked to your doctor?  I have had mine out on March 31st and have not gained 1 lb.  but we are all different.  I would certainly ask him/her was could be going on.  I wish I had more answers...: (
