post op problem

Hi.  I had a colonoscopy on the 10th and ended up with appendicitis.  Had laparoscopy appendectomy on the 12th.  I am soooo incredibly run-down.  I am 41 years old and normally very active.  Is this normal to feel this run down (I mean no energy....task to do anything)

How did you make out at the doctors? These sound like horror stories! I feel for you, Sally and Lee.

Post colonoscopy problems
2 days later my abdomin started to distend. Within 2 weeks I went from 34" waist to 42" and lost 12 lbs. Have severe pressure in belly and diaphragm. Hard to breathe. Had ultrasound, full blood labs, x-rays and EGD. Still no diagnosis! What's wrong with me? Could it be Dysbiosis? And what would be the remedy? It's like my life has been taken away. I have no energy and am in pain.

Additional info:
There were no poyps or biopsies. Just two abnormal veins that were cauterized.
I had NO, NO gas, bloating or pain after procedure. I thought it had been a real walk in the park. Then 2 days later I started to bloat, pain etc. I too do not understand any of this but I'm mad about it!!!  I wish I never had the colonoscopy!!!!!!!!
Do a search on this site of my name to see how this ends. Maybe some info will help you. Seeing my Gastro doc this afternoon.

You might want to read my posts about RUQ pain radiating around my r ribcage and up and down my right back after my colonoscopy on June 30.  I have been to the ER, 3 blood workup's, to my gastro and when he went on vacation to his associate, and finally to my primary care.  I never ever had this before the colonoscopy.  I thought I had had my colon perforated but I'm not nauseated or throwing up or feverish so I'm not textbook.  I had a chest and abdominal xray Thursday and an ultrasound this morning.  I'm trying to get my results now.  Nothing is elevated in my blood.  How did they diagnose your appendix?  And how did the appendix get involved when it was just your colon?  I do not understand any of this but I'm mad about it!!!
