8 days  after my discharge following my choly i started vomiting green bile with everything i tried to eat of drink, even water, as it did not settle after 24 hours my mum dragged me to the dr after ringing the surgery 1st thing monday morning - i was readmitted imediatly- after scans and standing and lying down x-rays it was decided that there was a kink in my intestine and i was rehydrated and kept NBM for 36 hours before water and food was reintroduced - after 2 days i was discharged... get your friend to a dr, this needs further investigation, whatever is causing it needs looking into so as it can be treated the correct way. i know it is a scary possibility having to go back to hospital after having surgery but if that is what is needed it the best place to be.

all the best for your friends further recovery, but follow up is currently the way forward in this matter.

She needs to see her doc since she is vomiting bile. She should be following a low fat diet.
