Odor is typically a by-product of the bacteria in your lower GI system. They give off 'gases' during ingestion/processing of the food-stuffs passing through your system. In some cases the odor can result from an skewed balance of the various bacteria. Skewing can result from a variety of issues: from diet, to medication usage, to infection. In some cases odor can be due to toxic products put out by some specific bacteria that aren't doing the GI system any good. You may want to consider checking with your doc to ask for some testing to be done to find out what's going on in your GI tract.
