reaction to zithromax

by Bob776, Jan 01, 2008 09:41PM
I recently had an upper gi series done.  The doctor told me i had gastritis caused by anti-inflammatory medication.  There was no evidence of h-pylori.  He also said that I had some acid reflux as well (i had been drinking serious amounts of coke and coffee for years).  So, I decided to treat my condition the healthy way, no caffeine, no carbonated beverages, lots of aloe vera juice, ginger pills, DGL extract, pine nut oil, alot of fiber, msm, vitamin c, zinc-carnosine, and probiotics.  Then all of a sudden I got a sore throat.  Went to the doctor, was prescribed zithromax.  My acid reflux and gastritis worsened.  I have stopped the zithromax for a week, but have continued
vitamins and supplements to no avail.  What should I do?
