red blood in stool/worried

I am a 56 year old woman in good health. In the past have had ibs and occasional red blood bleeding in stool from hemmorroids. Recently I have had some red blook on the stool and on toilet paper. The stool is firm on not dark. I plan to go to a doctor, but am worried.

Im a 53 year old female I have had blood so bad from hemroides that i got scared too . alot of times there is nothing to worry about it may just be internal hermoides. Let us know what you find out God be with you.
