It's actually hard to overdose on vitamin D, because most of us are deficient to some degree, but we're also usually deficient with magnesium as well.

This will give you very good information for both the vitamin D and the magnesium even for pregnant women. Compare the information on the website with what the nurse advice line tells you. I do know that it's even hard to overdose on vitamin D for pregnant women, because I remember reading that often the mother is already deficient herself, so the baby is also born deficient. In today's world this is more often than not.
